DESCRIPTION
Our Client - leader in premium class products sector is looking for Best Individuals for the position of Senior Finance Analyst
Germany&Poland Processing Centre - Bergheim
Main tasks:
• Partner with the General Managers and finance team to develop the annual budgets for Bergheim and Wroclaw PC’s
• Provide periodic forecasts (monthly, quarterly and annually) based on latest estimates and input from operational team
• Provide monthly and quarterly variance analysis, rooted in the operational drivers
• Ensure integrity of reported financials, including validating cost allocation
• Drive and track performance of key business initiatives and report recorded benefits to central distribution team
• Support strategic support on key business initiatives through financial modelling and scenario analysis, especially around overtime analysis, permanent vs. temporary headcount need, liaising with Distribution Planning & Analysis team as required
• Be a credible business partner to the General, by providing grounded and analysis-based opinions and challenging status quo
• Review, critique and bring financial rigour to business cases for strategic initiatives
• Work with Distribution colleagues to Identify and continue to develop key performance indicators to ensure the business is focused on the critical issues
• Coordinate & support ad-hoc financial audits
• Review accuracy of outbound logistics provider charges related to the operations of the Cross Dock Centres
REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate qualified (essential), financial qualification (desirable)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interest in logistics & operations
• High levels of initiative and drive
• Excellent influencing skills with the ability to persuade at senior levels
• Inquisitive mind and ability to think broadly
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver to deadlines being critical
• Excellent systems skills inc Microsoft Excel with familiarity of planning systems such as TM1 an advantage
• Retail experience desirable but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent German and English speaker, Polish language desirable
• Willing to travel across Europe
