Senior ETL Developer

DESCRIPTION
Our Client is an international company offering business solutions, technological applications support and outsourcing services. Right now, we are looking for experienced Candidates for position Senior ETL Developer.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, implement and support the data warehouse using standard concepts, practices and procedures that meet the technical specifications as designed by the analysts
- Use of warehouse builder toolsets but not limited to and utilize the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes and procedures to move data, manage metadata and ensure the integrity, validity, security and auditability of the data
- Follow standard development life-cycle processes to gather technical specifications and create technical coding specifications including production, test and implementation plans
- Implement ETL development best practices
- Review product functional and non-functional requirements and create test cases
- Specify and execute the related (manual and automated) test cases, reviewing the test cases
- Cooperate in the development of test plans, implementing improvements in test methods and strategies
- Support the root-cause analysis for the defects, document and validate resolution of identified defects
- Inform the Testing Team Lead about the quality of a tested Work Product and serious problems
- Observe the quality rules during the project, supply the QA Leader with upcoming ideas, and fulfill requirements / responsibilities according to the Quality Management System

REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification in software development or related field
- 5+ years post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience of Development of ETL packages; Update package specifications with changes; Performing ETL (extract, transform and load) processes; IBM DataStage
- Experience in enterprise data warehouse development
- Knowledge of Oracle (features, functions, & utilities)
- Create functional & technical specification
- Estimation of data development efforts
- Version control and defect tracking systems
- Software testing principles and development methodologies
- Software testing principles and development methodologies
- Fluency in English and good English writing skills to liaise with other teams, support staff, end users and business management people
- Strong documentation and diagramming skills

Plus experience:
- Strong documentation and diagramming skills
- Experience in Financial Services
- Developing database or software solutions using an established change management process that included change request analysis, documenting requirements, developing database or software solutions, testing (unit, system, and integration testing), and implementation
