Currently for our Client - an international IT company - we are seeking a professional for:
Training Program Manager
The successful candidate is customer-focused, process-driven and detail-orientated. This position will help the organization to become the recognized industry leader in the delivery of world-class customer support services. In addition, there are five functions, or behaviors, at which a person in this role should excel:
• Results
• Accountability
• Commitment
• Conflict (Resolution)
• Trust
This role must master and exemplify this set of behaviors, which are at once theoretically uncomplicated, but extremely difficult to put into practice every day.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement assigned training programs from design through delivery, including needs analysis, communications, coordination and reporting
• Educate others including but not limited to conducting “train-the-trainer” sessions for non-trainers, briefing teams on industry best practices for learning, and involving managers in their staff’s development
• Assist the Senior Manager in the analysis of job performance gaps and the identification of competency-building solutions
• Decide on administrative, logistical and operational issues in support of the program’s success
• Analyze data from disparate sources integrating into a cohesive project plan while exercising good judgment for optimal cost/benefit payback
• Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
• Developing and maintaining training applications to streamline training processes within the team and across ESS, including planning, tracking, evaluation and metrics linked to key performance indicators
• Deploying plans in assigned areas for career development, which may include project or job rotation, mentoring and stretch assignments
• Investigating, beta-testing and deploying breakthrough training methods, such as informal learning, social media and video pods
WYMAGANIA
• Proven experience in a training role in the high tech industry, preferably enterprise software support.
Alternatively, proven experience in a technical customer support role.
• An undergraduate degree is preferred in business, training or information technology.
• Proven ability to investigate and apply current training trends and techniques.
• Knowledge of and experience planning, administering, and implementing training programs.
• Strong communications, teaching and relationship-building capabilities.
• Excellent project management, process oriented, able to multi-task, have a logical thought process, able to determine root causes, have good analytical ability, and be self-directed.
• Expertise in one or more of the following domains: instructional design, organizational development, performance gap analysis, adult learning principles, learning management systems, data analysis and reporting, training infrastructure tools, post-learning application mechanisms, and in facilitating webinars and classes.
• Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast growing marketplace.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team and matrix environment.
• Motivated team player with a clear understanding of working as part of a global workforce, supporting a dynamic employee base.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Professional training certification is desired, but not essential.
